schelberg trio

"A trio enchants 100 listeners" (HAZ, Aug. 18)

The schelberg trio is a piano trio from Hanover, which is a rarity in its line-up of flute, cello and piano. Bernadette Schachschal, Lukas Helbig and Tatiana Bergh have been delighting audiences for years with the passion and fire of Romanticism and expressive music of the 20th century. The trio makes "colourful hymnal emphasis and late romantic feelings glow", devotes itself "to poetry and lyricism" and touches with "sound-intensive playing". (Die Rheinpfalz, May 2016)

Bernadette Schachschal, who completed her studies in Karlsruhe, and Lukas Helbig, who travelled from Dresden via Paris to Hanover to complete his musical education, are engaged as assistant principal flutist and cellist of the Lower Saxony State Orchestra at the Hanover State Opera. Following her studies in Moscow and Hanover, Tatiana Bergh's passion for the piano led her to become a lecturer at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and a pianist at the Hanover State Opera.
