Biography
Bernadette Schachschal
grew up in Calw in Baden-Württemberg. She studied at the University of Music in Karlsruhe with Renate Greiss-Armin and completed her artistic training there with honours.
Bernadette Schachschal was a member of the Young German Philharmonic Orchestra, where she worked with renowned conductors such as Adam Fischer, Lothar Zagrosek and Peter Eötvös, and gained her first professional experience with the SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden/Freiburg.
She has performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including together with Reinhold Friedrich at the Weilburg Castle Concerts.
Since March 2007 she has been deputy principal flute in the Lower Saxony State Orchestra of the Hanover State Opera.
Lukas Helbig
was born in Görlitz. He studied at the Dresden University of Music with Inge Schreier and at the Hanover University of Music and Theatre in the postgraduate solo class with Klaus Heitz. Further impulses came from studies with Peter Bruns, Leonid Gorokhov and Diana Ligeti (Conservatoire National Paris).
Lukas Helbig was a scholarship holder of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation "Live Music Now" and received the special prize of the Saxon Music Council in 1996, which was associated with his debut as a soloist with the EUROPERA Orchestra. In addition to CD and radio productions, international concert tours as a soloist and chamber musician followed with concerts in Europe, the USA, Dubai, Russia, Abu Dhabi and Algeria.
Lukas Helbig gained his first professional experience as an orchestral musician at the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, was a member of the Dresden State Operetta Orchestra for several years and has been a cellist in the Lower Saxony State Orchestra of the Hanover State Opera since 2013.He is also a lecturer at the Institute of Music at the TU Braunschweig.
Tatiana Bergh
studied piano at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with L.V. Roschina and at the Hanover University of Music and Theatre with Bernd Goetzke.
During her studies she was already a prize-winner at national and international competitions as a soloist and also developed a great interest in song accompaniment.Since April 2002 she has worked as a répétiteur in the vocal department of the Hanover University of Music and Theatre, and since 2005 she has held the same position at the Hanover State Opera.
Tatiana Bergh performs regularly in Russia, Spain, Norway and Switzerland.She is active both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She has regularly performed at the Braunschweig Classix Festival both as an accompanist and as a soloist. She is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Society, the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation "Live Music Now" and the Sellheim Society.
studied piano in Mannheim with Hans Thürwächter and in Hanover with David Wilde (pupil of the legendary Nadia Boulanger). Masterclasses with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Leonid Brumberg, Oxana Jablonskaja and others as well as participation in various international piano competitions round off his musical education.
In 1992, he won the 3rd International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht, the only German in the history of this competition to date.
His solo and chamber music repertoire includes works for piano, harpsichord, organ and harmonium from the early baroque to the modern era. He is particularly fond of music from the late Romantic period and the turn of the century, with a special focus on lesser-known works.
Thomas Haberlah has been a lecturer in musical ensemble work at the Hanover University of Music since 1993.
He has worked as a répétiteur at international music festivals such as "Ticino Musica" Lugano, "International Summer Academy Prague-Vienna-Budapest" and others, assisting world-famous teachers such as Hatto Beyerle, Andrea Lieberknecht, Felix Renggli, Johannes Peitz and many others.
Concert tours have taken him as far afield as Korea and Japan.
